Data Safety

Last Updated: May 15, 2026

This Data Safety page provides a transparent explanation of how data is handled within Scoop Docs, ensuring compliance with modern app store requirements and giving you complete clarity about your privacy.

No User Data Collected

Scoop Docs does not collect any user data. We do not track how you use the app, we do not log error reports remotely, and we do not monitor your activity in any way.

No Personal Data Shared

Because we collect no data, we have nothing to share with third parties. Your documents and activities remain strictly between you and your device.

No Cloud Synchronization

Scoop Docs operates entirely independently of the cloud. There are no background sync processes, no API calls to external servers, and no communication with any backend service. The app is entirely self-contained.

Documents Encrypted Locally

All documents you import or scan into Scoop Docs are immediately encrypted using AES-256 before being written to the device's storage. Documents are decrypted only in volatile memory (RAM) while you are actively viewing them, and cleared from memory when the app is locked.

Camera Access

Camera access is used exclusively for the document scanning feature. Camera frames are processed entirely on-device and are never stored or transmitted externally.

  • Data Shared with Third Parties: None
  • Data Encrypted in Transit: N/A — no data transmitted
