The short version: We do not collect, read, transmit, or store your documents. Everything you put in Scoop Docs stays on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not use tracking analytics.

1. Data Collection

Scoop Docs is a completely offline application. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal information, documents, notes, or scanned images on any external servers. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it yourself.

2. Analytics and Tracking

We respect your privacy. Scoop Docs does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, crash reporters, or tracking software. We do not profile your usage or monitor what features you interact with.

3. Permissions Required

Camera: Required only when you use the document scanner feature. Images are processed locally and are never transmitted to the internet.
Storage: Required to save your encrypted documents and PDF files to your device, and to import/export backups.
Notifications: Required to send you local reminders for document expiry dates. These are generated locally on your device.

4. Security Practices

All documents added to Scoop Docs are encrypted using AES-256 encryption. The encryption keys are stored securely in your device's Keystore/Secure Enclave. We (ScoopLabs) have absolutely no ability to decrypt or access your vault.

5. Children's Privacy

Scoop Docs does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Because the application is fully offline and requires no account, children can use the application safely without risk of data collection.
